Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Where do you deliver?

If you’re in Worthing or Shoreham, sometimes on the day you order as our business operates from West Sussex; otherwise, UK-wide and we also ship our products to anywhere within the European Union. Contact us for more details of postage and packaging within Europe.

Are all the ingredients you use genuinely organic?

Yes. All our products are 100% organic with two exceptions: our new body scrubs contain naturally occuring himalayan salt, also our shampoo and soap bars. To make shampoo and soap, all the fats and oils are organic but in order for it to work effectively, we have to use lye, which is the magic ingredient that turns oil into soap – leaving no trace of it.

Are your products vegan?

Our shampoo and soap bars, face balms, scrubs, cleanser and facial oils are 100% vegan, yes. The rest are vegetarian.

How safe are your products?

We go to great lengths to ensure compliance with the robust rules surrounding product safety. Indeed, after stringent chemical assessment of all our products, we’re pleased to display our safety certificate from a certified, chartered chemist.

So yes, they’re totally safe.

How ethical are you as a business?

It’s our passion. You could say obsession. Where we can, we will only use fair trade or collective-sourced products. Also, we reduce our business miles by using products and services from local companies.

With regard to packaging, we use sturdy recycled materials. Even our tape is biodegradable. Our products will arrive at your door in glass jars which can be recycled easily. We always ask our clients to re-use and recycle our packaging. They make nice little containers for all those bits and bobs that always seem to get lost. We cannot refill used jars at the moment as we do not have sterilisation facilities.

My product has melted or gone soft. What should I do?

Don’t worry. Our products are totally natural, and this can happen as they have no chemical stabilisers. Try stirring it with a spoon and popping it in the freezer for a few hours. If you’re somewhere hot, we’d recommend that you keep your Nadarra products in the fridge. But don't worry, they work just as well soft.

My product has gone rather grainy. What should I do?

Again, this happens where chemical stabilisers are absent, in Shea butter for example. Just pop the product in the sun or next to a radiator to melt it. Then stir, place it in the freezer for a few hours and voila – the silky-smooth texture of your favourite face balm or body butter has returned.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we do. We want you to be 100% happy with what you buy from us. If within 30 days of purchase you decide that your Nadarra product is not for you, just return it for a full refund.

Do offer some feedback on why you don’t like it, however. We’re always looking to improve.

Are you GDPR compliant?

Yes.

We protect your data with great care. Before buying from us, we would invite you to read our “Privacy Policy”, which details how we use and store your personal information.

You can also access, amend and delete your data at any time, as long as it does not go against any other legislation (eg UK tax laws). If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at info@nadarracosmetics.com
