Great news, we now post to Europe!!

Getting back to nature - mindfully

I don't know about you but I love getting back to nature. Time spent in nature is never time wasted for me.  

In fact we moved last year to be closer to nature. We now live right near the South Downs, half an hours walk from the sea. How lucky are we! 

This weekend we are getting to camp in deepest darkest Sussex. Right next to the most amazing bluebell woods I have ever seen. Carpets of blue as far as the eye can see. Just breathtakingly beautiful. We even had sunshine yesterday! Sitting in the woods, sun streaming through, the birds singing their hearts out really makes you feel honoured and humbled. A time to recharge and appreciate what we have right in front of us. 

There is a lot of talk of being mindful about at the moment. Nature helps me be mindful, in the moment. It is so very easy to get swept up and away with daily life you forget to stop, take a moment and just be present. So for me a walk along the beach watching the waves roll in and the seagulls float on the wind or an undulating walk along the downs with views for miles helps me just be still in my mind for a while. And I always feel better for it. It allows me the head space to be more creative and make decisions with more clarity.


So I hope you have some time for nature this long weekend. Get out there and be present in the moment. Feel the breeze in your hair, the sun on your skin and the sound of birds singing in your ears. I hope you enjoy it.
